Hale, bezel-set with two shaped opal cabochons measuring approx. 25.00 x 16.00 x 5.50 and 23.00x 19.00 x 5.00 mm, further bezel-set with amethyst, sapphire, peridot, green tourmaline, and demantoid garnets, in a foliate mount with grape cluster motifs, suspended from a conforming chain with two bezel-set opal cabochons with black onyx backs, 18kt gold mount with 14kt gold chain, lg. 2 3/4, 16 3/4 in., signed F.G. Hale, (alterations). Opals in chain may be doublets or triplets backed by onyx, minimal crazing to larger opals, break to mount on wire from left side to top bezel, frame below drop slightly bent, gems have facet wear, chain appears to be reworked, chain within grape cluster is tight and 18kt, the rest of the chain is 14kt open trace link. Chip tp corner of opal top right and wear to bezel at same spot.
