Continental, 18th century. A Provincial stained walnut fauteuil a la reine having a shaped and arched crestrail over a padded back, the outscrolled arms with padded rests over the serpentine shaped seat with scrolled carved serpentine apron raised on a cabriole legs. The underside of seatrail and back carved with 'LV III". Approximate height 40.6", width 26.6" (arm to arm), seat depth 20", seat height 16.5".
