Royal Dux (Bohemian/Czech Republic, founded 1860), circa 1860-1914. Hand painted porcelain figural group depicting a young farm boy with gold and mint green painted clothes (short trousers, jacket and feathered cap) leading a male horned bull with cream colored body with a purple rope on a naturalistic sloped base with green and gilt coloration. Marked on base, with additional mark on bottom with first stage production Royal Dux pink triangular mark with "E" at center, also with pattern number "1683" and "31". Overall approximate height 10.7", width 15", depth 6.5".
