Lyonel Feininger (American/German, 1871-1956) Cathedral (Large Block), 1923, from the posthumous edition of 100, published in 1964 by Associated American Artists, New York (Prasse, W144 ii). Unsigned, numbered "47/100" in pencil l.l., Feininger dry stamp l.r. Woodcut on fine paper, image size 12 x 7 1/2 in. (30.5 x 19.0 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins over 2 1/2 inches, subtle toning. The sheet measures 18 1/8 x 13 3/8 inches, and is hinged at the upper corners. There is ink to the reverse of the sheet that is visible in the upper margin from the face.
