Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951) The River, 1916, published state, edition of 104 (Paff, 90). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l., numbered "112" in pencil l.r. Etching on paper, plate size 9 7/8 x 7 7/8 in. (9.4 x 12.3 cm), framed. Condition: Possible mat burn, toning, pale fox marks, not examined out of frame. Although the number exceeds the edition size noted in Paff, we have no reason to doubt the impression.
