Félix Hilaire Buhot (French, 1847-1898) Une matinee d'hiver au quai de l'Hotel Dieu, 1876, probably the sixth state of fifteen (Bourcard/Goodfriend, 123). Signed and inscribed "eprueve d'artiste Felix Buhot..." in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.l., artist's owl stamp l.c., signed and inscribed in the plate. Etching and drypoint on paper, plate size 9 1/2 x 12 5/8 in. (24.0 x 32.0 cm), matted, accompanied by frame. Condition: Toning, mat burns, pale foxing, annotations to margins.
