Chamberlain (American, 1895-1975) Lot of Two Views of Bruges: Cour du Marché, Bruges, trial proof (Chamberlain & Kingsland, 65); and Hôpital Saint Jean, Bruges, edition of 100 (Chamberlain & Kingsland, 76). The latter signed "Samuel Chamberlain" in pencil l.r. and numbered in pencil l.l., both inscribed in pencil l.l. Drypoint on paper, plate sizes to 8 1/2 x 9 1/4 in. (21.5 x 23.4 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more with creases near edges, toning, red pencil annotations to margins. Provenance: Through the family of the artist. Hopital has a sheet size of 10 1/ x 11 5/8 in. and has a loss to the margin at the upper right corner. Cour measures 12 1/8 x 9 1/2 in.
