Hermann Ottomar Herzog (German/American, 1832-1932) Alpine Study Signed "H Herzog" l. l. Oil on canvas, sight size 7 x 4 3/4 in. (17.8 x 12.1 cm), framed. Condition: Scattered retouch, varnish inconsistencies and fluorescence, surface grime, not examined out of frame. Scattered areas of mild retouch beneath a heavy varnish. Surface grime throughout. The work would probably benefit from a gentle cleaning.
