Benjamin West (Anglo/American, 1738-1820) Two Drapery Studies Unsigned, identified on a label from James Graham & Sons, New York, affixed to the backing. Chalk on blue paper, sight size 10 1/4 x 11 3/4 in. (26.0 x 29.8 cm), framed. Condition: Light mat burn and toning (including light staining/toning u.r.), not examined out of frame. Provenance: Cyril Joseph Bowdring, Washington D.C., to a private collection by family descent.
