Eliot Porter (American, 1901-1990) Sea/Summer. Titled in red pencil on the reverse, inscribed (possibly in the artist's hand) with artist's name and address on the reverse, fragmentary label on the reverse. Gelatin silver print, 9 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. (24.7 x 19.5 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Subtle toning, minute nicks to edges. Provenance: From the collection of Austin Lamont, by family descent. Drymounted to older, trimmed mat and then cloth tape hinged to newer backing mat, minor abrasions/rubs to surface.
