Adolphe Jean Lavergne (French 1852-1901), "Le Pecheur (The Fisherman)". Diminuitive patinated bronze statue depicting a boy fishing standing at full length with bare feet and short trousers wearing a hat putting a hook on a fishing pole that rest in front his body. Detail on edge of rectangular base with rope to dock. Incised on base "Lavergne". Artist and title plaque on front "PECHEUR Par Lavergne". Height 8", width 2.4", depth 1.75".
