George Herbert McCord (American, 1848-1909) Sunset Landscape Signed "G. H. McCord ANA" l.l. and identified on a presentation plaque on the front of the frame. Oil on canvas, 12 x 16 in. (30.3 x 40.8 cm), framed. Condition: Slight rippling to canvas. Overall frame size 20 1/4 x 24 1/2 x 2 3/4 in, gold paint from previous liner along right edge of u.r. quadrant, measuring approx. 4 in. length, small abrasion along bottom edge to l.r. quadrant measuring approx. 1/16 in. diameter; surface grime, may benefit from a gentle cleaning.
