Agnes Anne Abbot (American, 1897-1992) Rockport Quarry , 1923 Signed, inscribed, titled, and dated"Agnes Abbot/Harvard, Mass. /Rockport Quarry/ 1923"on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 25 1/4 x 30 in. (64.0 x 76.0 cm), in a Paul Carter Goodnow frame. Condition: Mild canvas deformations in corners. Inscribed "#16" in ink on the stretcher. With a label from frederick gallery, Concord and Littleton, Mass. on the back of the frame. Frame signed with carved name "Paul Carter Goodnow."
