Aiden Lassell Ripley (American, 1896-1969) Sketch-Zaandam Inscribed, titled, dated, and signed "R-933... June-1924/ A.L. Ripley" on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 18 x 21 1/2 in. (45.7 x 54.6 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure, restretched, minor abrasions, minor surface grime. Scattered dots of retouch in the sky. Craquelure is stable throughout, although more visible in the u.r. corner. Small canvas dimples/deformation center right.
