Sterling Tea and Coffee Service, retailed by Udall & Ballou, New York, late 19th/early 20th century, comprising melon-shaped teapot, coffeepot, creamer, covered sugar, open sugar, and kettle on stand with burner, all with C-scroll lid finials and rim, engraved with diapered acanthus cartouches, with flower bud-scrolled serpentine handle and spout, raised on acanthus scroll feet, teapot ht. 6 3/4, with a large matching sterling tray, lg. to handles 29 1/4, wd. 20 in., approx. 324 troy oz. total. not monogrammed. tray with age typical overall light surface scratching. kettle: burner with a base dent and some scattered dings. teapot: lid finial leaning to one side very slightly. coffeepot: lid finial compressed, and with seam breaks. overall minor age/usage wear, and some scattered pinpoints throughout.
