Meissen Porcelain Chinoiserie Decorated Box and Associated Underplate, 20th century, the flattened round box painted with Kutani-style palette and motifs of flowers, birds, and a stylized foo dog, dia. 4 7/8; the associated underplate similarly decorated with a tree and a lion, with black rim, dia. 6 1/4 in. plate marked to underside: "Konigl. Hofrvirstschaft 1916" , and with blue crossed swords mark with pommels. bowl without pommels.
