Two Royal Doulton Hand-painted Porcelain Plates, early 20th century, a luncheon plate painted to center with a rose bouquet, signed Bentley, with shaped cobalt blue rim with raised gilt decoration accented with small turquoise jewels, dia. 9 1/4; and a service plate with central painted scene of ladies by a veranda, signed Lesley Johnson, with wide white border of raised gilt scroll and cartouche decoration, dia. 10 5/8 in. Still-life plate with all jeweling intact and no crazing to center; one 1 1/2 in. scratch to upper right through red rose; else fine. Couple plate with very light surface scratching, else fine.
