Four Staffordshire Earthenware Flat-back Figures, mid to late 19th century, a figure of a gentleman on horseback, titled to base Duke of Cambridge , ht. 14; figure of a standing Scottish gentleman, the base titled Bruce , ht. 15 1/4; figure entitled Napoleon , depicted standing beside a cannon, ht. 16; and a standing figure of Queen Victoria, titled to base and referencing her jubilee year of 1897, ht. 17 in. Napoleon: Heavy crazing to the backside; heavy glaze line running along the mold seam; some flaking of enamels to hair, cannon, cannon balls and scattered to base. Duke of Cambridge: flaking to black enamel hair. Bruce: flaking to black enamel at feet and slightly to brown in hair. Queen: Gilt title rubbed at base.
