Aesthetic Movement Ebonized and Parcel-gilt Folio Stand, c. 1880, with hinged upper section mounted with an oval plaque depicting an infant bacchante and girl, on a trestle support with shelf stretcher and splayed legs ending in hoof feet, decorated overall with gilt incising, ht. 52, wd. 32 1/2, dp. 20 in. Heavy edge wear, some retouch to gilt on incising, dusty, slightly moldy, age typical minor defects, oval plaque heavily rubbed.
