Pair of German . 800 Silver Covered Soup Bowls and Underplates, Karl Kurz and August Dingeldein, makers, late 19th/early 20th century, Rococo-style, with domed lids with rose-form finial, the bowls with short handles, round underplate, all chased and embossed at rims with sprays of fruit and blowers, and applied with C-scroll and rosehead rim, bowl lg. to handles 7 7/8, underplate dia. 7 3/8 in., approx. 39 troy oz. good, with minor light age wear. one underplate with a few spots of green pitting.
