Three Chinese Export Silver Mugs, third quarter 19th century, all cylindrical, with repousse decoration and dragon-form handles, two depicting figures at various outdoor pursuits, one with colorless glass base, and central shield engraved with a presentation inscription dated 1878, ht. 4; the other likely Sunshing, Hong Kong, with a roundel engraved with name and dated 1872, ht. 3 7/8; the third with decoration of a battle scene, marked Chienam, ht. 4 3/4 in., approx. 14 troy oz. weighable silver. glass bottomed engraved Archibald Smith from J.A.S. July 24th 1878." Sunshing mug slightly off-round. engraved "Georgia 1872". Small ding at engraved roundel. battle scene with engraving removal to shield, and some wear to surface decoration. All with some age.usage wear.
