Three Chinese Export Silver Mugs, third quarter 19th century, all cylindrical, with repousse decoration of battle scenes and dragon-form handles, one Wan Nam & Co. , Hong Kong, with small engraved presentation shield dated 1868, ht. 5 1/8, a Kheheong, Canton, with small roundel with engraved presentation inscription dated (18)60, ht. 5, the third bearing Birmingham hallmarks for 1895, with maker's mark LH, with monogrammed roundel, ht. 5 1/2 in., approx. 39 troy oz. Birmingham marked example: some wear to surface decoration from wear/cleaning. Kheheong example: roundel engraved "Pt. E. Purcell (15 years 1st Piston in their Band) from Officers 87th R.J. Fusiliers, Canton 11-8-60" Wan Nam: shield engravinf somewhat worn. reads: "Steeple Chase 1 3/4 mile, R.S. (name illegible) Shanghai 1868" all with some minor age/usage wear.
