Chinese Export Silver Ewer, late 19th century, with Chinese characters mark, slender baluster body chased and embossed overall with figures at various pursuits including battles, processions, and courtly gatherings, with short spout with domed lid with dragon head finial, with dragon-form loop handle, on foliate footrim with grotesque mask-topped paw feet, ht. 13 1/4 in., approx. 32 troy oz. central shield to body with engraving removal. good, with minor age typical wear.
