Large Chinese Export Silver Cup, Hong Kong, late 19th/early 20th century, Wang Hing & Co. , makers, the bell-shaped bowl chased and embossed with a continuous scene of nobles and peasants before a fortified wall, with faux bamboo loop handles, on openwork stem formed as a cluster of three addorsed dolphins on beaded base, over floral repousse knop, and domed, round foot, ht. 12 3/4 in., approx. 43 troy oz. with plain central shield (likely with engraving removal). one dolphin with loss to tip of one wirework whisker at beard. overall minor age wear.
