Chinese Export Silver Urn, late 19th/early 20th century, marked WS, and with French import marks, vasiform, chased and embossed with continuous scene of figures along a fenced pavilion over a band of writhing dragons, the neck applied with cutcardwork of fruiting grapevines, with crabstock handles, lid with foo dog finial with moving eyes, on round, tiered foot, ht. 12 1/2 in., approx. 29 troy oz. minor age wear. plain shield with pinpoint and diagonal dent (approx. 1/2"). possibly light dent to one of the foo dog's ears.
