Chinese Export Silver Watch Stand and Pocket Watch, Canton/Shanghai, late 19th/early 20th century, Hung Chong, maker, the round watch stand pierced, chased and embossed with a pair of dragons, on three bamboo-form feet, ht. 6 3/4, approx. 8 troy oz., the watch with pseudo-hallmarks and later dial, dia. 2 1/8 in. stand lacking pin for hanging watch, with small metal tear to rear compartment at left side (approx. 1/4"); and with small spot of visible solder, and a small hole to center leg. possible engraving removal to small central roundel. watch with replaced dial, and later acrylic crystals. overall minor age wear.
