Pair of George II Silver Bowls, London, 1747, Frederick Kandler, maker, chased and embossed with demilune lobed rim, the base with diagonally curved reeding and fluting, accented at waist with decorative acorn and quatrefoil punchwork, with scrolled fish scale handles accented with a grotesque mask, ht. 3 1/4, wd. to handles 10 1/2 in., approx. 31 troy oz. good, with minor age typical wear. possibly lacquered. marks good.
