Chinese Export Silver Goblet Mounted with Portrait Miniatures, late 19th/early 20th century, with Chinese character mark, with double-walled bell-shaped bowl chased and embossed with figures at various pursuits, mounted with four portrait miniatures painted on rice paper or silk, mounted under beveled glass, the bowl raised on three openwork bamboo-form legs, on domed foot with repousse decoration of a dragon amidst cloudwork and with three-dimensional head, ht. 7 1/4 in., approx. 13 troy oz. total. each portrait roundel with some damage including tears and some water damage. Three depict ladies. the fourth depicting a man, with significant water damage (the image possibly replaced). dragon mask at foot missing one horn. overall minor age wear.
