Chinese Export Silver Jardiniere, Shanghai, Tuck Chang & Co. , late 19th/early 20th century, rectangular, pierced at rim with bamboo, the bombe sides chased and embossed respectively with dragons, bamboo, prunus blossoms, and figures in a pavilion, with openwork dragons to each corner forming handles and feet, traces of gold wash to interior, wd. 13 7/8, dp. 8 7/8, ht. 5 7/8 in., approx. 54 troy oz. one leg with very small hole at base at join of dragon to body. one dragon with a casting pinhole at head near eye. a few light pinpoints to interior base. wear to interior goldwash. overall minor age typical wear.
