Chinese Export Silver Covered Cup, Shanghai, late 19th/early 20th century, Luen Wo, maker, the ovoid body chased and embossed with a continuous scene of a parade processional, domed lid with writhing dragon, and with pair of dragon-form handles, raised on openwork stem formed as three addorsed dragons, over knop decorated with figures, prunus, and birds, on domed foot with chrysanthemums, ht. 15 1/4 in., approx. 52 troy oz. with traces of goldwashed banding. minor age typical surface wear. cartouche to body with possible engraving removal.
