George IV Silver Tete-a-Tete Teapot, London, 1828, John Bridge, maker, ovoid, with leaftip and beaded rim, lid with carved ivory finial, body chased and embossed with band of berrying vine over shallow flutes with arrows, rattan-wrapped ear handle and gadrooned foot, ht. 3 3/8 in., approx. 15 troy oz. light ding to tip of spout. some losses to rattan on handle. some wear to surface decoration from cleaning. underside of foot engraved "Duvall." Height to top of finial is 4"; overall length handle to spout is 7 1/4".
