Victorian Shell-shaped Silver Inkwell, London, 1877, Charles Stuart Harris, maker, the hinged lid chased and embossed as a Baroque-style shell, with gadrooned rim, with conforming shell-shaped body, raised on four shell-shaped feet, interior with two small colorless glass inkpots, lg. 5 in., approx. 12 troy oz. one glass well with a small edge chip. the others with tiny fleabites. silverplated lids. box good, with minor age wear.
