Five Sterling Matchsafes, late 19th/early 20th century, four American sterling, comprising a flattened barrel-form, a Webster with rocaille scrolled edge, a shaped rectangular stamped with the figure of a nude nymph to verso and recto, and a rectangular with rounded edges with acanthus scrolled borders; with one English, Chester, 1903, engraved with foliate scrolls, lg. 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 in., approx. 3 troy oz. Webster example with a few light pinpoints. Nude maiden and acanthus scrolled corners with a few very small pinpoints at one side. English lid latching a tad loosely. all with minor overall age/usage wear.
