Sterling Repousse Covered Tureen, 1875-91, oval, with domed lid with reeded bypass handle, body with reed, acanthus, and shell handles, on ovoid trumpet foot, chased and embossed overall with florals on textured ground, ht. 9 3/4, lg. to handles 14 in., approx. 57 troy oz. good, with minor light age wear. one small spot of light green corrosion to area under handle of lid.
