Gorham Sterling Six Piece Tea and Coffee Service with Silverplate Tray, 1882, finely chased and embossed with dense foliates to upper section of bodies, between navette and lambrequin bands, lids and spouts with flat leaves, comprising squat pear shaped coffeepot, squat ovoid teapot, creamer, covered sugar, open sugar, and kettle on stand with burner, the Gorham silverplate tray with similar floral edge, rectangular, with convex ends, lg. 25 3/4 in., sold with a small Tiffany & Co. sterling teapot spout strainer, (8 pieces total), coffeepot ht. 7 1/2 in., approx. 150 troy oz. covered sugar with a thumb-sized dent near base of body, and with lid finial pushed to one side slightly. tray with a few pinpoints and light surface scratching. no monograms. minor overall light age/usage wear.
