Three Wedgwood Majolica Mussel Dishes, England, 1865-71, each polychrome decorated and with a scalloped rim, consisting of two dishes, each with six wells, dia. 7 1/4; and a dish with twelve wells, dia. 11 1/4 in.; impressed marks. Literature: Illustrated in Majolica by N. Dawes, figure 61. Small dishes: one with a 1/4" rim chip of the backside and a 1/2" footrim chip. One in very good condition. Large dish: 1 1/2" rim repair at tip of one scallop.
