Pair of Wedgwood Solid Blue Jasper Cassolettes, England, late 18th century, with applied white relief, the covers convertible from a sunflower finial with arabesque flowers to a candle nozzle with foliage, the bowls mounted to tripod legs set on a triangular base decorated with foliage and lion masks and rings at the leg terminals, impressed marks, with candle nozzle, ht. 10 1/2 in. Covers: One with candle nozzle heavily restored and with crazing to the complimenting relief; one with a restored chip to a petal of sunflower finial. Vases: One with numerous chips restored along footrim. One with restorations to numerous footrim chips, and to a 2" area of top rim as well as to minor rim chips.
