Wedgwood White Terra Cotta Bulb Pot and Cover, England, late 18th century, D-shaped and brown slip decorated, the cover with pierced holes between three cup-form compartments, impressed mark, lg. 8 1/2 in. Literature: Illustrated in Wedgwood I by R. Reilly, plate 508. Cover: sizable chips restored to rim; surface flakes to each of the two back corners; 1 3/4" hairline; each cup with chip of 1/4 to 1/2" at its base; one cup restored. Pot: top to bottom hairlines along back seam that also runs along back edge of base.
