American Guitar, C. F. Martin & Company, Nazareth, 1954, D-28, stamped CF MARTIN & CO, NAZARETH PA on the center strip and D-28, 141203 at the upper block, length of back 20 in., width of lower bout 15 3/4 in. Tuners replaced, pickguard crack, wear and abrasion to varnish surface, pick wear, belt buckle sratches, and wear to back, finish wear to back of neck. Bridge replaced, rosewood replacement bridge plate. Case is in good condition, although lining is silver color, may not be original.
