Pair of Meissen Porcelain Figures of a Girl and Boy with Pets, late 19th century, both in 18th century dress and modeled seated, with reticulated bases and gilt accenting, the girl holding a gray striped cat dressed in a lace cap, and feeding it with a spoon, with crinoline accenting, ht. 5, the boy in tricorn hat and pink jacket holding out a striped hoop through which his dog, dressed in tricorn hat and blue coat, is about to jump, ht. 5 in. boy with two small firing lines to reticulation of base; chip to edge of hat, and two chips to hem of coat. girl with several stable firing cracks to reticulation of base, with one firing line extending up to the hem of her skirt (mainly visible from underside) and losses to ends of yellow streamers down the back of her dress.
