William Baxter Palmer Closson (American, 1848-1926) Hoppity-Skip Signed "Wm. Baxter Closson" in pencil l.r., titled and identified on labels including one from William Filene's Sons Company, Boston, on the reverse. Oil on artist board, 10 1/4 x 10 1/4 in. (26.0 x 26.0 cm), framed (under glass). Condition: Not examined out of frame. There is minor grime adhered within the varnish. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other issues to report.
