Angelo Asti (French, 1847-1903) Woman in Profile Signed "A. Asti" l.r. Oil on canvas, 24 x 20 1/4 in. (61.0 x 51.4 cm), framed. Condition: Patch reinforcement l.l., retouch, varnish inconsistencies, mild craquelure. Please note that there is a horizontal tear in the u.r. corner (approx 2 in. in length). Patch reinforcement l.l. (approx 2 1/4 x 1 in.). Retouch is broad glazes as well as many small and medium sized areas throughout. Scattered craquelure appears stable.
