John Harrison Levee (American, b. 1924) Untitled [July III] Signed and dated "Levee 60" u.l., also signed, inscribed, and dated "Levee/July III./1960." and identified on a label from the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, on the reverse. Oil and mixed media on canvas, 39 1/4 x 32 in. (99.7 x 81.3 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime, craquelure. Provenance: Property of the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard Art Museum, sold to benefit the acquisition fund. The surface grime is unobtrusive. The craquelure is scattered and stable.
