Condition: Water staining, mended tear, subtle acid burn. Provenance: Through Caroll Carstairs Gallery, New York; from the collection of Louis Albert McMillen. N.B. We wish to thank Mme. The work will be included in her forthcoming supplement to Catalogue Raisonné des Aquarelles, Gouaches et Pastels de Raoul Dufy , photo-certificate no. A09-1753 accompanies the lot. Two mended tears in the background of the u.r. quadrant, the largest is L-shaped and approx. 1 x 1 1/4 in., tape hinged to backing mat, old tape residue to the top margin verso, deckled edges, sheet sizes is 26 x 19 3/4.
