Sir Jacob Epstein (British, 1880-1959) Second Portrait of Sunita (bust) Signed "Epstein" in cast l. l. Painted plaster, 23 x 23 1/2 x 14 in. (58.4 x 59.7 x 35.6 cm). Condition: Minor chips and surface abrasions. Small scattered retouch with gold metallic paint to chips, largest unretouched chip on ponytail and measures approx. 1/4 x 1/2 in., what appears to be a faint signature is in the plaster cast on left breast (see photo), plaster mold seams are visible.
