Henry Merwin Shrady (American, 1871-1922) Portrait of a Jockey Signed and inscribed "Copyrighted 1904 by/HM SHRADY" and foundry marked "ROMAN BRONZE WORKS N. Y." in the cast on base. Bronze with dark brown patina, approximately 24 1/2 x 23 x 7 in. (62.2 x 58.4 x 17.8 cm). Condition: Loss to whip, crack and restoration to figure's right foot.
