Louis Kronberg (American, 1872-1965) The Favorite Signed and dated "Louis Kronberg/-1904. -" l.l., identified on a partial period label on the stretcher, inscribed "LEE." on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 18 x 12 in. (45.7 x 30.5 cm), framed. Condition: Retouch, small scratch u.r. The labels on the stretcher have been abraided leaving only fragments of words. There is also an indistinct canvas stamp on the reverse.
