John O'Brien Inman (American, 1828-1896) Boy with a Straw Hat Signed "JOB Inman" l. r., a partial gallery label affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 10 1/2 x 7 in. (26.7 x 17.8 cm), framed. Condition: Flaking and losses, surface grime. The surface has numerous scarrered tiny losses, and additional painting is lifting off of the surface in a like manner. The work would benefit from cleaning.
