John Whorf (American, 1903-1959) Bowsprit Signed "John Whorf. " l.r., stamped "GRAND CENTRAL ART GALLERIES, NEW YORK CITY" on the backing. Watercolor on paper/board, sight size 16 1/2 x 19 1/2 in. (41.9 x 49.5 cm), framed. Condition: Masking tape at top edge, mild mat burn/toning, pale scattered staining/foxing, not examined out of frame. Adhered to window mat on all four sides with brown paper tape. Watercolor paper appears to be laid down on matboard backing. Not fully opened for examination
