American Electric Guitar, John D'Angelico, New York, 1955, Model Excel, stamped 1980, JOHN DANGELICO at the upper block, the bound peghead with D'ANGELICO NEW YORK and EXCEL pearl inlay, length of back 20 1/2 in. , width of lower bout 16 7/8 in., with case. Replaced pickups, finish or hairline cracks near pickup switch, finish check, finish wear to back of neck, pickguard a replacement. Refretted with zero fret added. Two face cracks under tailpiece, one repaired. Case in poor condition.
